Members of the Friends of the Church will be at this event on Saturday December 5th from 10am-12noon at the Church. All are invited to share in refreshments, view proposals, cheer on the churchyard working party and add your ideas to the suggestions book.
What ideas have you got for events or fundraising?
We have just held a very enjoyable Christmas Coffee morning, with lots of interest and support. Vicar Peter used his chain saw very effectively - to cut down trees and to tidy up the Church yard. We were blessed with a lovely morning and many mince pies, coffee and doughnuts. Jo or Judy will post how much money was raised asap.
ReplyDeleteThe Friends have recruited 7 new members this week. We now have 32 members in total to date.
We look forward to hearing from others on this excellent site - developed by Ross McTaggart. Love and Best Wishes to you all.

Many thanks Ross for creating this Blog for us. The Christmas Coffee Morning was a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and new. The Friends' stall raised £27 and the Church stalls and refreshments brought in £137 of which £50 will be donated to the Friends' Fund.

Steve and his nephew Tom and Tom's friend Dom all competed in Maldon Mud Race on Dec.29th in support of the 'Friends' and the other approved charities. It was reported to be the deepest water and thickest mud ever but all completed the course and were in total agreement afterwards, "Never Again!"
